WEB Jul 31, 2013  · Seems like most of the DIY posts suggest 7/64 Amsteel but I see that the 1/8 has significantly greater strength, only an additional 1/64 in thickness and maybe $0.10 more per foot. What am I missing here? WEB Amstel is plenty strong at the 7/64 size, so mainly it's weight and size. If you want the 1/8 size go for it. But it's not necessary.
